Karyn Noble - B.A.(Prof Writing), Dip FS (FP), Cert IV AWT

Senior Courseware Publications Editor

Karyn has a versatile combination of writing, education and financial services qualifications and experience that substantially contributes to the breadth, depth and integrity of our educational publications.

Karyn is the Editor of the Journal of Financial Advice which underpins the CPD Central program.  She is responsible for researching and writing educational CPD articles, commissioning and editing articles from technical experts; developing assessment materials and engaging with FPA, AFA and other relevant professional associations for accreditation of CPD points.

Karyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing (Media major), Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training.

Sandy Mcmanus

Sandy is a very experienced training coordinator and staff manager with over 18 years financial services and education experience, including mutual societies and 12 years with St. George Bank.

Sandy has undertaken studies in Accounting, financial planning and securities dealing and provides key oversight and input into the VET systems and VETAB/AQF standards.

Lokesh Singh

Lokesh is a highly personable trainer with first class experience in delivering quality training programs in business and financial services. Lokesh has a MBA from the University of Western Australia and an Advanced Diploma in Quality Management.

Amanda Cole

Amanda is an accomplished training coordinator with over 14 years of combined finance industry, human resource and administration experience.

Catherine Smith

Catherine is a highly respected training coordinator in the financial services sector throughout Western Australia. She is responsible for the selection and employment of financial trainees and coordinating and monitoring trainee performance at work and studies.

Jim Taggart - M.Comm, M.A, Dip.Ed.

AFA Partner advisor

As  AFA President, Mr. Taggart provides oversight and input to courseware. Jim combines the depth of teaching experience with the high-level perspective of a leading professional association plus the hands-on experience of a practitioner. Jim provides the guidance and oversight that is only available from someone with his combination of skills & experience.

Peter Broadbent - CPA, B.Comm, Dip FP, Cert IV TAA 

Peters brings more than 25 years practitioner experience in Financial Planning, Accounting and Wealth Management Business Development. Peter provides a range of services to RG146TA including workshop training and assessment in NSW.

Dr. Steven Cohen - BA Brandeis, LLB UNSW, MA PhD Chicago

Subject Matter Expert: Professional Ethics

Dr Cohen is widely recognised as the leading academic exponent of professional ethics in Australia. He provides invaluable support in ensuring that educational content satisfies the most rigorous standards. Dr Cohen was engaged because of his staunch independance of the usual morass of so-called "ethics consultants".

Christina Kalantzis - MLaws (Legal Practice), MComm(Finance), B.Comm (Economics), DFP

Subject Matter Expert: Compliance

Christina is an admitted lawyer of the Supreme Court of NSW. Christina has over 13 years experience in the financial services industry and extensive risk management, professional indemnity insurance and compliance experience. She managed the first Financial Services Reform (“FSR”) adviser banning 2005, was an industry expert to ASIC and the ACA as part of the Quality of Advice Survey 2002, and the FPA’s head project manager for FSR, privacy and fee disclosure
